Aidan would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Ward 1 volunteers.  The time you dedicated to helping out at RMH is greatly appreciated and we are grateful and proud that you are a part of our community!  Aidan would also like to thank everyone who sent in a donation, your money was used to pay for the cost of the food.

Although Bistro night is over, the demands at Ronald McDonald House are not.  For those who are able, please consider donating money, required wish list items or time.  For more information click here.

Participatory Budget Project Update!

 capture.png

Making ideas a reality. When Aidan was elected Ward 1 Councillor in 2014, he committed to continuing the Participatory Budgeting (PB) Process started by the previous Councillor Brian McHattie.  PB asks Ward 1 residents how to spend 1.5 million dollars in Area Rating Funding (read more about PB and Area Rating Funding by clicking here). Overall, the process highlights how 1 resident can submit an idea to be reviewed and voted on by the community and then implemented by the City.

Below is a status report of the ideas that were top voted and received funding since Aidan's election (click to enlarge, opens PDF file):
