Have you already started pursuing action ideas raised at Change Camp Hamilton? Do you want to develop a new project that responds to one of the 234 action recommendations in the Change Camp Hamilton report? You're in luck! ChangeCampX workshops are focused on moving Change Camp Hamilton action recommendations from ideas into projects. This workshop will bring students, staff, faculty, residents, and community partners together to review specific action recommendations, develop project ideas, and leave with clear next steps to motivate change. If you are interested in collaborating to foster positive change for the future of our city, Hamilton, this is the workshop for you!
Specific topics for ChangeCampX: Sustainability in Action are:
- Built Environment and Infrastructure (39 Action Recommendations): Sub-topics include Design Livable Community Environments, Build Safe & Healthy Neighbourhoods, Provide Input to Hamilton’s Transportation Master Plan Update, and Increase Active Transportation Access for Non-Driving Population
- Clean and Green (29 Action Recommendations):Sub-topics include Local Food Awareness and Food Security and Encourage Sustainable Lifestyle Changes.
