Meet Aidan

What's New

Congratulations to Maureen Wilson!

Congratulations to Ward 1 Councillor-elect Maureen Wilson, on her victory in the Oct. 22 election!  I feel honoured and humbled to know that the West Hamilton council seat will pass to such a worthy leader.  Councillor-elect Wilson and her team brought deep energy and thoughtfulness to the campaign.

Thank you to all of our hard-working Ward 1 candidates: Jason Allen, Sharon Anderson, Sharon Cole, Ela Eroglu, Jordan Geertsma, Sophie Geffros, Carol Lazich, Lyla Miklos, Richard Massie, Linda Narducci, Syed Bakht and Harrison White.

It takes a lot of courage and passion to put one's name forward on the ballot, and to follow through with an energetic campaign.  Our Ward 1 candidates did this.  To all: Our community owes you a true debt of gratitude.

Finally, thank you to everyone who voted, took a lawn sign, or otherwise campaigned in our municipal election process!  You make West Hamilton the beautiful, democratic neighbourhood that it is.

I will miss serving you and serving with you, more than I can say.

Cheers,

Aidan
