The Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System comprises almost 1,900 hectares (4,700 acres) of natural lands and open space connecting the Niagara Escarpment to Hamilton Harbour at the western end of Lake Ontario. Home to over 1,500 species of plants and animals, the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System is a protected, permanent and connected natural lands sanctuary from the Hamilton Harbour to the Niagara Escarpment.
We now have the opportunity to protect and restore some of the most amazing, biologically rich lands in Hamilton and Burlington – forever.

Keep It Real Campaign - As private neighbouring lands that would grow the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System become available, we have the opportunity to purchase and protect them.
We just need to pay for it and we are asking for your help. You'll be surprised how much land your donation will protect - a $40 donation protects a parking-spot sized lot forever.
Please donate online to help us purchase the next piece of land. Any size gift makes an impact. The 'please donate online' link takes you to a chimp account which is a website that is managing donations on behalf of Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark.
UPDATE: The Heather & Ross Hamlin Fund at the Hamilton Community Foundation is now matching funds so any donation made between now and December 31 will be doubled!
