Update: Earlier this week, City of Hamilton crews began road resurfacing operations on the eastbound lanes of Main Street W between Cootes Drive and Macklin Street S. With the work on the eastbound lanes largely complete, crews are moving operations into the westbound lanes beginning this weekend.

Westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane throughout the construction. The operations will continue around the clock until finished, with an estimated completion time of late on Saturday, March 10, 2018.
