Erin Bow is a physicist turned poet turned children’s novelist – and she’s won major awards in all three roles. On the fiction front, she’s the author of the acclaimed middle grade fantasy Plain Kate, the YA horror Sorrow’s Knot, and the hit new Prisoners of Peace duology: The Scorpion Rules and The Swan Riders. Erin lives in Kitchener with her husband James Bow – also a novelist – and their two young daughters. Find out more about Erin at ErinBow.com.

Telling Tales is a not-for-profit charitable organization founded in 2009. Now in its tenth year, Telling Tales delivers outstanding literary programming for children and youth that raises awareness of the importance of literacy in our communities.
