Volunteers Needed for 2017/18 Participatory Budget Advisory Committee!

Attention all Ward 1 residents!

You are invited to apply to become a member of the Ward 1 Participatory Budgeting Advisory Committee (PBAC).  The Committee oversees the process and engages residents in developing and selecting infrastructure projects in the Ward, as well as it advises the Councillor on Participatory Budgeting Issues.

There are specific skills needed on the Committee including but not limited to social media, coordination, minute taking, word and excel, advertising and communication skills.  Candidates will need to commit up to 7-10 hours per month to dedicate to meetings and tasks. Previous community committee experience is an asset.
