Welcome to Canada: Jewish Immigrant Stories of Hamilton

Sunday, September 24, 2017

Beth Jacob Synagogue
375 Aberdeen Ave
Hamilton, ON L8P 2R7

For Canada’s 150th birthday year, the Rosenshein Museum committee is presenting stories of Jews who have come to our community since 1975 - a new wave of immigrants & refugees, with their own histories.

Hamilton, like Canada itself, has a rich history of immigration. The Jewish community celebrates this history, which has included resettlement of Holocaust survivors, Russian emigrés and Jews from other countries.

This is a free event.
